Our mission

Lubbock Arsenal Futbol Club is solely focused on the development of youth talent in Lubbock, Texas. The goal is to foster the learning environment at an appropriate skill level to help each and every player excel and achieve their potential. Lubbock Arsenal F.C. formed through the trial and error of various attempts to unite several independent clubs in Lubbock. Finally in June of 2008, Lubbock Arsenal FC formed through the merger of Cruz Azul Soccer Club 94’ Girls and 96’ Girls and Lubbock Arsenal Soccer Club 97’ Boys.

The coaches, parents and players of these three teams were painfully aware of the lack of emphasis placed on the development of young soccer talent and made the decision to create a new type of soccer club. The primary focus was to be the development of players and helping them achieve their goals both personally and collectively at the high school and collegiate levels.  Another area of importance was the vital role that parents serve at every level of the club through participation and leadership.

LAFC has some of the most talented, creative and hardworking coaches and trainers in West Texas. Our USSF Nationally licensed staff has played professional, semi-pro, collegiate and high-school soccer; we combine a youthful exuberance for soccer with varied experiences playing & coaching in the US, Mexico, Europe and Olympic Development Program (ODP) to maximize player, family and parent development in the growing soccer culture of West Texas.

LAFC strives to conduct itself ethically, honestly, and with integrity as we work to improve your soccer on the South Plains. We are a transparent organization that accommodates all who wish to play, work, and interact at the highest levels both on and off of the pitch.
